Free dynamic DNS service
If you want and need to access your PC at home and your Internet service provider uses dynamic IPs for your dial-up connection, use the Dynamic DNS service (DynDNS) to have your home router or PC update the IP of a host of your zone to make it point to the current valid IP.
By doing so, you can your system by using an easy to remember hostname.
Create for example
home.yourdomain.tld and set it up for DynDNS. Your router or PC will update the IP (if it changed) and makes your System accessible using the hostname home.yourdomain.tld.
