Registration

To register a .ru domain the following restrictions apply:

For organizations incorporated in the Russian Federation the following additional parameters are required:

• Taxpayer identification number
• Territory-linked taxpayer number

For natural persons the following additional parameters are required:

• Passport number
• Birthdate

Update

Updates for nameservers are possible. Owner change requires trade.

Trade

It is not possible to change the registrant of a .RU domain through our system. You have to sent the original letters by mail to the registry. Further information can be found at: http://www.nic.ru/dns/docs/en/dom_red.html

Transfer

Transfers of .ru domains are not possible for the moment. Please contact us.

Delete

Besides the explicit deletion request through our system you have to sent an original cancelation letter by post to the registry. Further information can be found at: http://www.nic.ru/dns/docs/en/termination.html

Nameservers

The nameserver list must contain at least two nameservers in different Class C networks.
